Hi, I have been asked to produce a small run (5) t shirts for a weekend event.

Please can anyone recommend a suitable garment material to be printed on using a Roland sp300?

Also, is a heat press really necessary or could I just carefully iron on the material?

    Any advice/info is much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

    Owen

I have used them from all over victory, metamark all about the same, we have a heat press but with some testing for a short run you could use an iron if it goes to 160

I use my mums iron. Its one of those steam ones that has a base at the bottom where the water goes.

Don’t use the steam though just turn on the heating element. you’ll find with the iron you won’t get a nice consistent press if the image is larger then the iron.

Remember to use a Teflon sheet over the image.
