  HI
  I have been sent an ai file but i can’t open it Coral says use import and filter but it doesn’t open. How can i open it. I have coral and signlab

  rename the extension to PDF and double click it

  You’ve probably been sent a file that originated from an apple Macintosh.

  "Right click" the file and check its properties. If it doesn’t say it is an .eps file then re-name it as such – then you should be able to open it in Signlab or Corel.

  Renaming it as a pdf as Dave suggested should also work.

  When I have trouble opening a file I usually post it here and some kind souls help me.

  Depends what version it was created could be to new for the version of corel your trying open with, if it was a mac file the would’nt be a file extension on the end.
