Hope this is the right section for this post. If not please move to correct section Rob.

Anyone got the driver for the 3rd generation iPod nano for Microsoft Vista?

Bought one today from Argos and theres no disc or any of that stuff. I’ve got iTunes on the PC but everytime I plug the iPod it its not recongised and needs the driver to install.

Can anyone help? Already checked the Apple site and not much help.

    Thanks
    Jonny

    What driver?

This is Apple kit you are talking about here. You just plug it in and it works.

I can only suggest that you make sure that you have the latest version of iTunes.

Yes John. I downloaded the latest version of iTunes, its the only one the Apple site allowed to be downloaded. iTunes works fine but the iPod isn’t reconisged. Vista keeps asking for the driver for the iPod. I’ve tried it on my old XP computer and it works fine.

I’ve looked on a few Apple specific sites and it seems everyone is having similar problems with the 3rd Gen Nano and Vista.

    Thanks
