hi people .Got a pub customer that wants to bring more business in to there premises in particular there restaurant which nobody know is there my self included !!! The problem really is that the pub/restaurant sits flush with the rest of the surrounding houses. They have about six feet of ground in front before the pavement starts . banners are a definet no no ive tried that one they are not interested .They want something that is heavy enough not to be blown over by every passing artic a.nd yet easy enough to bring in at night . But they also want it approx 3ft x4 ft. I was thinking of one of these spring loaded type boards but open to suggestions ..hmmmm the lettering of its the easiest bit here they’ve already approved my design

    regards Brian

    Hi Brian

Not sure if it’s an option but SMP sell A-Boards that are solid metal and are very heavy but can be carried. They also make a fairly large one.

Give them a call for size and weight but I remember ordering one of the medium ones and it was heavy.

    Cheers

What about the Sentinel from Signwaves http://www.signwavesgroup.com/forecourt/index.htm the larger one is easy to transport, when on site fill base with water and it even has wheels and a towing handle to move it around…IMHO the ones on springs are a liability and accident waiting to happen.

Just made up an ecoflex board. As it flexes at the base in the wind, it does not need to be as heavy as top swingers.

http://www.signwavestrade.com do them at quite a respectable price although I got mine from Grafityp as part of an order.
