  • Freestanding Directory supplier needed please?

Posted by Andy Gorman on 17 March 2008 at 22:35

I need to quote on a freestanding directory sign. When I say freestanding, I mean not fixed to the ground. It is to go indoors in a garden centre and they want to be able to move it when they bring trolley loads of stuff in.

Anyway, if anyone has a supplier for something like this (or any ideas on how to make one) then that would be super duper.

    Ta.

Andy don’t smp do one a bit like a direction thing with arrows pointing in differant directions ie: toilets, cafe, bedding plants etc. I’m pretty sure thats movable, in Cherwells new catologue, they had some sort of signage system haven’t really checked that but it may be ok

Yes I have seen the Cherwells one, but I need one that comes with some kind of weighted base so it can stand up on its own.

I think Duncan Wilkie from Canada recently restored or fabricated something like this for some big building (maybe a mall) in Edmonton.
I looked on Letterville but I couldn’t find it.
He is great with stuff like this and may have some insight. The closest other thing I can think of is something from http://www.clarkesystems.com/
but they are in the US.
