Does anyone know of any software that have blank vehicles as templates (specifically the old and new Mini variants).

I need to do a Union Jack roof decal using just red and blue vinyl and the ones that the customer buys don’t run right to the edge of the roof making them look like a universal item. I’m new to this and my friend is a Mini specialist so he is sort of a guinea pig for me to practice with.

Any help is much appreciated as ever.

You should look no further than….

    Brian Hays at:

    Impact Graphic Solutions
    10 Wagtail Walk
    Oakley Vale
    Corby
    NN18 8FB

    Tel: 0845 470 20 20
    Fax: 0845 470 20 30

on a side not, never use a vehicle outline for "exact sizes" for things like kit graphics.

Thanks Robert but do you mean he does the software I need or he does the finished item?

Thanks for the side-note too, as I mentioned my friend is a Mini Specialist so its ideal as I can play around and find a way of doing the roof decals that I’m happy with. The software is just a starting point to help me learn.

You do not need a vehicle outline, just measure on of your mates cars.

I do loads of roofs for bmw, check out the mini site, some flags go to the edge, others have a border, but dont expect to compete unless your designs are unique, after market stickers for mini, are dirt cheap, and many people do them.

    Paul,

Finished article. Just open them in your choice of software and start designing.

He’s told me if I can get the first one looking the business then he will guarantee me all his work, which is some promise as I am 100% new to it. He fits about 5 a week, not alot, but enough to be worth me doing. Things like the bonnet stripes are dirt cheap but he literally buys hundreds per year.

Your help is much appreciated guys, very friendly bunch here!
