As the title sais really. Need to do some big stuff and at least one curtain sided for a temporary campain. The customer is going to be happy with it lasting 6-12months and I’m wondering what the best way is to do this balancing cost/durability?

Job will probably be layered vinyl as apposed to print but both options considered.

    Any advice appreciated.

    Cheers

    Hi Gavin,

I know from experience truck vinyl is designed to last for years and is almost impossible to remove , you would be quicker and cheaper getting a new curtain, we used our own Oracal 451 banner series on our vehicles , it lasted about 12 – 18 months before looking really messy but maybe you could get away with a banner vinyl if you explained this? The advantage of course is that it can be removed with heat without too much trouble.I am sure the same goes for any banner vinyl.

    Regards

Cheers for this Cameron. I’ve spoken to the customer and printed truck vinyl has got the go ahead. He would be cheaper with new curtains but it needs to be done for the weekend!

    Ta,
