    oh! i think you are stuck then matey unless someone on the boards lives near you..only other suggestion is to ask the client to save again as cs2

    because i have a cs3 file but i only have a cs2 i was hoping someone could convert it for me.

    I don`t know whether this would work but you might be able to download the Corel X4 trial and then import it and save as an earlier version.

    Would this work??

    You could try to Place the file, rather than open it.

    It worked here for some getting some CS3 files into CS2 yesterday.

    With the placed file selected, click on the Embed button on the tool bar.
