  • What backing should i use to mount onto wall?

Hi all, hope you are all well.

I have got the job of replacing a sign in a nightclub (1800mm x 1000mm) which is mounted the wall, it is currently mount to acrylic which is fixed to the wall. and the client wants a replacement as the scroats have decided to break the 6mm acrylic sheet it was on.

What would be the best material to use to replace? as i dont want to supply inferior replacement and be promptly broken, good for business but i think he might guess me out 😀 what other alternatives is there? metal? thicker acrylic?

    Suggestions welcome.

    Thanks

    Steve

4mm Dibond comes in most colours gloss or matt and you can buy it in cut to size

I think you’ll find "Scroats" should be spelled "Scrotes" (as in Scrotum) 😕
