  where is the weld command in Illustrator CS2 please?

  Is there a weld command? I can’t for the life of me find it.
  I’ve got a logo (designed for print) that I need to weld together to get an outline for the cutpath.
  Short of exporting to Signblazer, welding, saving as an eps and reimporting to illustrator, is there a way of doing it?

  called pathfinder in illustrator
  select the shapes click "add" and "expand"

  If you are talking about closing a path select the 2 nodes to join and then select "join"

  Otherwise pathfinder is what you need.
