  Flyers, leaflets, brochures to promote your business, anyone

  Hi all,

  I’m in the process of designing a leaflet to drop into businesses near me to generate more work as I’m about to take someone on, and need a bit more work to "move to the next level", so to speak.

  I’m looking for a bit of inspiration if anyone’s done anything similar.
  ie post a pic ofyour brochure or flyer.

  I had a look at dave rowlands website and there’s some good ideas there so well done Dave 😉

  I know that leaflets/brochures won’t work miracles for some, but we’ve always had great success from cold calling businesses in the past and wonder what the rest of you think or if anyone else has had any experience of this.

  hi Joe,

  pm me your address and i’ll emal you a copy of mine, it’s a little dated now, and really i should get some new ones made up, but it’s a fairly good template, i think!

  i had 5000 A5 280gsm (i think) printed by fat flyers in brighton / hove, cost about £160.

  just off out now, but can email when i get back, if you have corel 12, i can send it to you as a file.

  My flyer is very almost identical to the picture on my web site, which is just temp.

  I’m busy enough I hand it into places with a card as well, got most of my work from them.

  emails sent.

  they don’t get huge responses immediately, i simply do walkabouts wheeby i go into every business on a high street or estate, make a basic inrtoduction and ask if i might leave a flyer with them to look over later, 99% of people take it, and about half will read thee and then, if i do 150 shops, i might get 2-5 queries on the spot, if nothing else they have a good quality flyer they can have a look at.

  i designed it about 18 months ago now, so i want to update the text and photo’s, include more varying work on it, but they still work!

  i don’t otherwise advertise, so i guess all my work comes from these, or word of mouth.

  Hi guys, Pam from New Zealand here. I’m new to communicating on this site and I am just starting out on my own after a wee break from the Sign industry. I too am looking for brochure/flyer ideas.
