evening all, i wonder if anyone out there can offer me a little advice?

A customer has emailed me a .pdf file of their logo, i tried to open/ import it into coreldraw 11 and firstly it tells me that there are fonts missing and then when i try to accept the alternatives offered it then tries to open the file and then says the file is corrupted.

I have opened it in acrobat reader and its fine..

    any suggestions?

any help and advice greatly received

    cheers

If you want to email the file to me I will try to open it and save down to something you can use with Corel.

    Stephen,

Jason on here had a good link (which I now can’t find…) that lets you take a PDF with fonts and then convert to curves so the fact you dont have the fonts is not a problem. You will need acrobat professional though, and will need to follow the instructions per the Jason’s link.

Have tried it and works great.
