what can i do about problem customers?
I can not believe some people!!!
Had a customer in Tuesday three weeks ago asking if we could do a van for him, he would supply all the artwork etc.. We arranged a date for fitting later that week. The so called artwork arrived as a word document!, managed to sort it and get everything ready for fitting. The night before he rings and says he has a rush job in and needs the van so we re arrange fitting for Monday morning this week. Monday morning no van! not a problem as we have plenty on, then today an email arrives with an attachment for two more vans he wants doing, once again a word document and loads of text all in an open face font! I email him back giving him a price and asking what happend to the van on Monday, 10 minutes later another email comes saying he forgot but he will bring it in tomorow with the other 2 for fitting!!!
I then email him telling him that tomorow is not possible and it will be at least 10 days before we can fit him in again!!! he then rings me up and starts giving me grief saying that as he is having 3 vans done he should get priority and that they had had a job cancel tommorow so It has to be then or he would have to get men to come off the job to get them fitted and he would be losing money!!!!
In the end I told him to forget it and that there would be a bill sent to him for the vinyl we have already cut and he can call in and collect it at anytime as we will not be doing his vans!
Sorry to rant but just had to get it off my chest
