  Would it be best to fix panel to timber board before posts?

  Hi
  I have a dibond panel the fix to 2 wooden posts, The sign is 1530 x 670 .

  Would it be best to fix the panel to a timber board before fixing to the posts?

  I would fix it to some marine ply mate just to be on the safe side 😀

  Safe idea with a backing board to srew into m8
