should i tape or glue flat cut acrylics onto brush finish?

cleanest method but not quickest would be VHB or similar.
Adhesive would have to be a type that will glue acrylic to a metal finish. gluing would be quicker too but messier and you would have to watch for it squirting out from under the letter. i.e. i would use 3M two part adhisive and that’s a greeny-blue colour.
im guessing it has to be a flush finish and locators are out the question? -
Hi Rob yes flush finish. Client didn’t want the possibility of street life being able to pull any characters off as the shop fascia is not very high from street level.
Which option would you plump for Rob out of choice?

I would probably go the VHB tape method. using a cut stencil vinyl 1/5 of depth of letters as a template. apply the letters then remove stencil.
depending on the colour of letter or background, dont put the tape too near the edge of the letter or you will see it. VHB comes in white and grey depending on grade. just needs to be a couple of mill from edge.
