  • Which architectural sign system can you recommend?

    Hi everyone.

I have a very large client that is interested in using me to fit a large amount of architectural signage.

This will include about 200 office door labels.
    About 20 foyer pylons
    About 20 wall directories

We do use quite a bit of Vista System but i don’t think the client will like it it is not upmarket enough.
A sister company of this client uses Modulex. As you may know it is over prices in my opinion. Because i am not a Modulex agent i want to try and offer something else.

Do any of you know what could be a good system. That is very modern. The client quite likes the idea of something glass.

I wanted to offer maybe a piece of frosted acrylic sheet maybe about 10mm think with stainless steel grip pins holding it. Is there a system that has something similar to this.

Spandex, in Bristol do a very good system that we use, that cover virtually every type of sign you need.

    .

Take a look at Cristallo from Richmond Sutton http://www.richmondsutton.com/cristallo1.htm – It might give you some ideas and is simple to make something of a similar nature if it does not quite fit the ticket

    And one of my favorites

you can find lots of fasteners and spacers (FISSO) and bar and cable rod systems (FLY). I used few days ago in one interior and clients were amazed with rods and cable systems. in combination with acrylic glass can look very impressive.

Hopefully this doesn’t break board rules. Admin please remove it if it does. Anyway we have a branch of our company in Britian. It might be what you’re looking for also.

    hi simon

do you have any representatives for apco in southern africa for this.

it is a really great system but how could stuff like this be sent to africa. How does it work. Is it custom made and painted per clinet.

Unfortunately we don’t have a sales office directly in Africa. I talked to the head of our International department and he suggested you contact Boyd Pratt in the APCO UK Office. His e-mail address can be found here. http://www.apcosigns.com/euro.asp Just explain your situation and that you met me on these forums. You can tell him that I directed you to him from the APCO Atlanta office. I’m not exactly sure of the details of how international orders work, but he should be able to sort you out. Most of our products can be cut to size depending on what product is chosen. We do have interior systems that are modular. Here are some links for our three most popular ones.
