    Hi all,
Just needed to check that I am going about this the right way, the intention at the moment is to lay them down strip by strip and cut on the vehicle – or is there a better way of going about this. The flourescent and reflective is not conformable so to do any other way could be very difficult.
I think I know the answer I will get to this one – wet or dry?
    Thanks
    Mart.

Rob did a nice tutorial on this sort of thing, he laid them all out together on normal 7 year vinyl and then fitted it all at once.

Have a look through the video tutorials.

I’d avoid cutting on the vehicle as the reflective can be quite hard to cut through and you run the risk of cutting into the paint.

If you are worried about cutting on the vehicle – try holding the stripe in place and marking it, then cut with scissors before applying.

To use Rob’s method you would need to make an accurate template of the kit first from card. Doing it a strip at a time is slower but does allow you to conform the pieces a bit more.
