Is there any decent sites for getting good children pics apart from iStock, looking for cheap as poss

This ones free, but you have to sign up. http://www.sxc.hu/index.phtml You could also try Flickr, but I don’t know about legality of using those (you’d probably be best to contact the person that posted them). I’ve never used this one, but they advertise $1 per photo. http://www.bigstockphoto.com/ I also use Google and AltaVista’s image searches. If you go into the advanced search you can tell it to only look for large resolution images. Good luck!

http://www.dreamstime.comtheres actually lots… since the take over by gettyimages istock have began to tidy their act up a bit. Fotolia has from the start and you get good photos at hi res as oppossed to just random ify pictures of people with their head cut off at top and bits missing here and there with others.
none are perfect but some of the big ones are now trying to clean up the act with quality over quantity. -
