Very thin white PVC?
Have a sample from a client that uses what looks like white PVC with a shiny surface that is 0.5mm thick approx. Does anyone know of any such material and a supplier??
1.5mm is not a problem to find but I’m stumped on this.
Any ideas much appreciated, the material needs to be this thin as it is to be hole punched.

Cox Plastics sell this product – I always ask for semi rigid pvc
they do it in various thickneses

Hi Tim pyramid also do this they have a swatch with diff thickness and it comes in different size sheets i was told i could put it through the cadet i am at home so don’t have it to hand will get back to you tomorrow with full details

Hi Tim,
A company I used to work for used a material like this. It was called (Hips)
High impact polystyrene. They were screen printed though so I don’t know if it would take vinyl. Some plastics have surface that vinyl doesn’t stick to well after a while i.e hygiene board.

the swatch i have from pyramid has STAUFEN PVC FILMS
in clear 140 mic – 900 mic
white matt 300 mic – 440 mic
and white gloss 140 – 950 mic
also mark resistant films in clear
and a selection of coloured tinting films

HIPS i use this stuff everyday for health & safety signs never let me down yet! Amari plastics i get mine from they cut aswell for no extra charge

Europoint do one called Genotherm, its a proper pvc material unlike HIPS which is not suitable for outdoor use. I find it scratches less as well.
