im trying to find out the product and a supplier-preferably in australia , for the material to print onto used for surfboards, traditionally artwork has been screen printed onto that rice/tissue paper, now with modern printers you dont need to screen print- you just print artwork straight out- the rice paper is to thin and rips, but there is a thin material which i have seen, and it can be printed onto and laid onto the surfboard then glassed over. I am trying to source the fabric/material-more like a strong paper, that it is printed onto. any ideas???

Completely out of the box thinking, try a snowboard manufacturer as the ones I have, have printed top sheets that are laminated into the board, worth a try, hopefully the manufacturing process is similar.
