If you save to a specific folder on your hard drive then try making a new folder somewhere then save into there for now close down coreldraw and restart open file again from new folder then try saving again to your normal folder

    just a thought 😕

This is from the Corel Knowledge base

When attempting to save a file from CorelDRAW® the following error occurs:

File Copy Error. TEMP Drive or Output Drive may be Full.

    Answer
For an immediate workaround to this issue, try the following:

    Export the file to CMX.
Copy & paste the contents into a new file and try to save it the file.
Remove any bitmaps from the document and then try to save the file. After a successful save, re-import the bitmaps and save the file.
If you are trying to save directly to a floppy disk or other removable media, try saving the file to the hard drive first and then copy the file to the disk. See document ID 754210 for information on Saving to Floppy Disk.
To prevent this error from occurring in the future, here are some things to check:

    Free Disk Space
CorelDRAW uses compression for saving by default. It may appear that you have sufficient free disk space available to save the file, however, the uncompressed file size may require 2 or 3 times the amount of disk space to successfully save the file. Make sure that the drive being saved to has sufficient disk space available.

    Clean up Temporary Files
Over time, temporary files may accumulate in the Windows’ temp folder. It is good practice to check this folder periodically and delete any temporary files that you may find. A quick way to access this folder is as follows:

    Click Start, Run.
    Type %TEMP% and click OK.
If you are unable to delete some of the temporary files, try rebooting the system first and then remove them. You may not be able to remove all of them if the system is using any at the time.

NOTE: Windows XP users can also use the Disk Cleanup utility to easily remove temp files and free up more hard drive space. See Windows Help for more information.

    Windows Swap File
The Windows swap file should be set to 1.5 to 2 times the size of the amount of physical ram available on the system. If you are working with very large files, you may need to increase the maximum size of the Windows swap file. See Windows Help for more information.

    CorelDRAW 11 Save Fix Update
If you continue to receive this error when saving from CorelDRAW 11, try applying the Save Fix update by clicking here. When successfully applied, this update will modify cdrrip110.dll file to version 11.756. To check a file’s version, examine the properties of the file and view its file version value. This update requires that Service Pack 2 be installed first. To download Service Pack 2, click here.

CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 12 Service Pack 1

The corrections which have been provided in the Save Fix Update for CorelDRAW 11 are also provided in Service Pack 1 for CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 12. Click here to download this update. When successfully applied, the version of CorelDRAW will be 12.0.0.536. This can be confirmed by clicking Help | About CorelDRAW while in the application.

I have a client that has been having the same issue lately.
I have found out why it is happening but yet to find the exact cause.

The files within the ‘Temp’ folder are setting its self to ‘read only’ and this causes corel draw to be unsuccessful in saving/writing to the file

To get around, the next time this issue happens go to ‘my computer’ then C:\
right click on TEMP folder and select ‘properties’ then untick ‘read only’, apply and ok.

you will now be able to save your work.
