That really sounds like a cowboy way of fixing a post mounted sign. In all my years in this business I have never seen a sign mounted in the way you describe. You should use channel and the appropriate clips as well as the banding. Unless you know something I don’t 😕

    Mike,
If i knew how i would post a picture!
These signs have a slot punched in them so the banding can be passed through from the back crossing the face ( but staying flush with the face) and then out and round the post.
I tend to agree with you that its not the best way of fixing but having had a picture of what the client wants supplied, I’m trying to match what they have requested.
I too have been supplying plate and channel signs for over 10 years now and haven’t come across these before.
    Paul.

Do you mean like the ones that you see on street lights about fouling of footways?

if so there is a supplier in Cardiff they may post to you if you cant find any one close to you

Try DLM Signs in York. 01904 737482

Leon will be able to supply you with these panels and the screw banding required.

Are they ‘No dogs’ signs? It sounds very much like the ones the Council here use.
