    hi folks.. i have been trying to apply metamark 7 series to a bonnet of a 206 rally car, just at the front where it curves, but without any success it i cant seem to get any stretch.. i have applied checkers to rear wheel arches with no probs, and not even a bubble there,,, maybe iam using the wrong vinyl?? .. cheers for any help

    are you applying it outside or in a nice warm workshop?, 7 series should stretch no problems , give it a bit of heat.

    Heat is the key, but even with heat it still can be tricky, just take it slowly.

    A heat gun should do the trick!

    7 series is a calendered vinyl as far as I’m aware? hence i doubt it will stretch that much without future problems

    cheers folks.. yeah i need to buy a good heat gun, it was inside a garage when i tried,, maybe not that warm,, ok thanks again…
