I hope you can help, I have a small problem:
I am putting up a 5m x 2m Vinyl sign advertising a cafe. Beautiful lady
laying seductively on a Tiger (I know we only have Lions, Leopards etc, It was not my concept) client wants a ribbon/paper cover, going from bottom left corner to halfway up to top right corner. This will cover part of the semi clothed lady giving the impression that she is wearing nothing on at all, and also showing the date of the re-opening of the cafe, however at the end of the month the ribbon/paper will be taken of showing the lady – semi clothed.
The sign is 7 M off the ground, problem No 1. The rigging Co can’t leave the scaffolding problem No 2. and I need to pull of the ribbon/paper. Is there
a product around that has a low tac adhesive, I can then maybe attach a fishing line to it and hopefully pull off the Ribbon/Paper??
    All suggestions welcome.
    Thanks in advance

Maybe some static cling would work?

Did something similar a while back. Only not so high up, or on as long and was indoors.
Tried static cling but wouldn’t stick to matt laminated graphics.

We ended up cleaning graphics with anti-static cleaner, then using normal printed vinyl for the overlays. The anti-static leaves a film which the vinyl doesn’t stick to very well, then it peels off easily.

Only thing I’d be worried about was whether it would last long enough while outside for a couple of weeks.
