  applying vinyl to dimpled Aluminium attache/power tool cases

  The cases you can get for cameras etc.Anybody any thoughts as to vinyl for them?
  The case sides are dimpled to a point so there isn’t a lot of contact area.Tried 3 sample vinyls over the weekend but no joy:(
  customer doesn’t want panels over them,might have to go paint stencil route.Thoughts please

  If you get it in place best you can – heat GENTLY & push into the dimples with your thumb / palm.

  Or as above but mask & spray.

  hi mate I had a strange one the other day, we fitted vinyl to a very textured sheet material and used a matt vinyl and heated then using a rivet brush pushed the vinyl into the textures hope it helps rich
