Hello, I have a Rockhopper 38, my problem is a worn gear. Specifically one of the the 2 gears and shaft connecting the pump motor to the pump under the capping station. I have tried finding a similar gear to replace it but no luck yet… 🙁
    A) Where can I find this and have it shipped to me
    B) Is this part part sold separately or do i need pump and capping station?
    Thank you!

I had the assembly machined at a shop according to the original, since the machine was not used in a while the black head jammed with dry ink. used wash cartridges and syringued all the lines clean before restarting it. Now works fine!

    hi i am eric
and we have a epson 9600 and a rocky 38 we had the same problem with the worn gear it seems a common problem on them the little teeth on the pump end wear away too quickly as the plastic is quite sofe i had one made in the end as kept phoning the suppliers to order a part and were reluctant to send insisting they send an engineer now it is up and running again
