  • can anyone help me set up cutting sizes on Summa D60?

    Hi All

    In need of advice.

I use, and have for many years a Summa D60 – Corel 11 and Sign Tools 3

Replaced computer all working fine except when the job finishes cutting it used to roll of a bit extra vinyl and stop so that you could run a rabbit knife in the slot and cut of the job. But now it don’t do that. It stops and parks the drag knife and you need to roll the vinyl forward manually.

Any help on how to set this up? After many years of ownership all instruction books are lost.

    Thanks Dave

D120 – arrow key for me too!

Jogging forward automatically that 50mm or so would be a handy function…

The replies indicate that it is not the cutter that does this but more probably your cutting software. As this has been reloaded it is the first place to look.

I think that is just software related, I can not do that with my Summa.

look in your plotter setup of your software.
In many programs, you specify additional move at end of job.
It would default to zero on a fresh install.

    Hi

Sat down today and looked at it.

It is the cutter program, set the figure in the post cut feed off box and all works.
Its a case of not remembering what you done all those years ago.

Thanks to all for your replies

I have the feature in Sign Tools 3, which is what I use to run the cutter.
