i don’t have it, but i know what you mean about the spikes, my way around this (assuming it’s not lots of text) is to make a very minimal contour, .5mm or something like, then edit the noes where it wants to shoot away from a corner to a spike, round it off, then, when happy with it, add a bigger contour to the modified one, perfect contour then!

I have it if you need it, but no matter what, it spikes like crazy!
I think this font was invented by wanna-be graphic designers using Word to torture us who need to make real signs.
I had a similar problem with it this summer.

Andrew, what program are you using to add the outline?
if you can, select rounded corners it should not happen, I have done this in signlab, if you dont want a book writing, post the text and I will bold it up for you
let me know how bold thoughPeter

Thanks for the replies guys
I have a couple of paragraphs of text to do – I’m using X13 (which normally is great at this !!) I suppose I’m being a bit lazy looking for the bold font 😳
I will try Hugh’s idea….
Thanks for the kind offer Peter, but there’s loads to do, and I don’t want to hassle anyone. 🙁
