Hi folks is there any other suppliers of Avery Vinyl in Northern Ireland apart from Robert Horne Signs? At present using Avery 700 which is really good to work with, Comes at £2.50/mtr + VAT + £10 per delivery. = £ 2.94 /mtr Is this a good rate, The Avery 500 is £1 /Mtr +VAT = £1.18 /mtr

Have the option to change to 3M from sign and display Dublin which including there 22% vat works out at £2.34 /Mtr + Delivery. For there 3M 50 range .. Downside to that is that its only comes in 60 different colours compared to Avery’s 120 colours which I like.

Am i comparing like to like here, 5-7 year general signage vinyl.

Bottom line is im looking for a good 5-7 year vinyl at fair rate. Probably discussed many times but I cannot really get from England as the carriage would probably be huge.

    Thanks tim

    Hi mate,

Have you tried the 600 series Avery? I find that the properties of it and the Avery 700 are very similar. Both 5 – 7 year vinyl.

Not much help but I use Robert Horne for my Avery, although O’Sullivans in Dublin do Avery too.

Its more down to personal preference mate. Avery and Image Perfect both do similar ranges of 3 – 5 year and 5 – 7 year vinyls. I tried one roll of the Image Perfect stuff and didn’t get on with it, nothing wrong with the material, just able to work with it the way I wanted, so I’m an Avery man myself. In saying that Metamark stuff is good too, if a tad more expensive than the equivalent Avery. Trimwell in Lisburn supply metamark.
