Chisel Font
Posted by Chris Windebank on 19 October 2007 at 13:28Afternoon all, can anyone tell me if it is possible to get a chisel effect from a standard font such as Swiss med? I am using corel and struggling to find such an effect

Chris,
Signlab has a feature to do it, and there are quite a few chisel effect fonts about, but I am not sure how you would do it in corel.
If you only need a few words doing in a specific font, post it up and I’ll knock it out for you, if the corel experts cant advice you.Peter

Chris I would say a bevel effect with eye candy and their shadow lab would do the job, you can download a time limited demo copy and have a play with it, I think it works in corel photo paint rather than draw though.

A similar effect can be produced using Corel. Follow this link
http://www.uksignboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=17645
which takes you to a demo. I have used the instructions in it to produce this effect in the past. Hope this helps.Dawn

Well done Chris. Just shows how well put together these demos are.
