    Hi,

Can somebody tell me,does the cut line have to be a separate specific line,or can it be part of the graphic it’s self with a fill etc?

    thanks,

Good question. I’ve never tried it, so can’t really answer, but the question that springs to my mind is – why would you want to?

The way I generate artwork is to have all the cut lines on one layer and to lock all the other layers with artwork on before saving. Then when I want to cut I just have to open the file, use the keyboard shortcut for "select everything" followed by "cut". Two keystrokes and we’re away.

    Fast, fun and fumble-free. 😀

yes it can be part of the graphic with a fill but must be the correct named pen colour. you will have some problems if its a fountain fill thou.

best to keep it separate on top so you can control any bleed correctly
