Actually after seeing the real logo, I prefer James’.
Has the client paid a deposit for this thing or are they just expecting you to give them ideas? Not to be cheeky.
As for their logo…heck, what does a handshake have to do with fine furniture?

David R, are you by any chance a rich olympic games logo designer?

No, but this is one of my personal favourites.

Ok here’s my quick take on it. To bad I don’t have much more time to play around with it. Now that I look at it, I probably wouldn’t join the two parts together now. I didn’t draw the hands shaking as it would take some time to do properly. Anyway logos take time to finalize. It would probably be good to make it work in black and white first, and then add any special coloring and details to sort out. Keep us up to date on your progress. Also, I added the apostrophe s to the end. The customer might not like that. It just seems more proper though.

err….Yeah oops. Good catch. I wish I had a good excuse for that one. I’ll blame it on the greasy cheeseburger I had in my hand at the time. 😳 😎
