    Very Nice work!

Did you apply vinyl to the whole curtain or was the curtain black originally?

We haven’t worked with this material as of yet and would be interested to hear your thoughts.

Hi Jamie. This is a WHOLE curtain digital print job. removed old curtain and fitted new which was white curtain printed black with graphics on. A team of one person was sent to install them for me, really easy process, just make sure the artwork is good.

    Hi Cheryl

Great job well done, did you use full solvent ink or eco solvent was there any over lamination used. Very interested as we have a 64" printer running eco inks but durability would be an issue without lamination but we would like to take on similar jobs.

    Cheers

    Neil,
the print was direct to the curtain, and i suspect uv?, no lamination.
to do this sort of print you need at least a 2.5m printer to allow for the curtain to be finished.

    Hi guys,
yes Warren, I did the design artwork and fitted the back and cab and yes Harry, I sat back with a cup of tea and watched the rest happen (cocktail sounded like a better idea tho!)
Apollo Graphics made and arranged installation of the curtains. Peter it was a laminated material…great job.

Hi Cheryl that looks really good we have got to apply 2 photos to the back doors of a 7.5 tonne. How did you get the print under the bars on the back I’m probably asking a really stupid question but i’ve not done one before.

used masking tape to mark the straight line under lettering. Marked the signwriting at the centre. Separated the lettering using the application tape to keep the spacing correct when fitting on and just tucked em under.
good clean needed behind bars. bit of a fiddly job, but can be done.
BUT NONE OF THIS APPLIES TO YOU DOES IT?
as you are doing pics…id fit the large area first…working up toward the bars. then cut where the fitting from bar to door is and feed vinyl under…all very faffy I know, but a bit of patience is required.

    Mike,

I remove the bars. I find it easier to apply.

    Hey Cheryl,

They are just usually bolts. So a socket set gets them off rather quickly. Might take ten minutes getting them off and another 10 getting them on but if your doing a digital print as a whole panel it says ruining a print.

    Cheers
