  • Recommendations for trophy suppliers please?

    Hi to all,

next year we are starting our "village tennis league" and I have the honour to provide the trophy. The trophy should be touring (I don´t know, if this is the real word – the trophy, actually the cup will the winner not take home), where the name of the winner will be engraved each year.
Recommendations for trophy suppliers and the trophy it self are very appreciated.

    Best regards.

    Hi
I have in the past, and still do, go to matalan or equivelent stores, and pick up there cheep curved glass picture frames, or square vases, or what ever else catches my eye in glass, and with a bit of creativity, and some vinyl, make up some masks and sandblast the items. As one offs they make a cheep and different item to stand on a shelf.
I have many trophys through motorsport, and when on the shelf they all look very similar, and get a bit boring after a while.

    Thanks Dave

I use http://www.swatkins.co.uk for trophies and http://www.glassscribe.co.uk for something different. They do "Icebergs" as optical clear or seconds, the later I use for generic trophies. If you have the money or just looking for insperation try http://www.hanoverhouse.co.uk For budget trophies look at http://www.sdltrophy.co.uk Hope these help

    Pilot,

The phrase you are looking for is "Perpetual" Awards, Usually large wooden shields with smaller shields pinned on or trophies with plinth bands for year after year engraving.
