  Does anyone know how to set the program on the Mutoh?

  Hello all,

  Does anyone know how to set the program step on the Mutoh SC-650?

  Apparently there are 2 options "40 steps/mm" and "100 steps/mm". Mine is currently set to the incorrect one as it scales everything down. It is something to do with printer resolution I think but can’t seem to find it on the menu.

  You have to put a pen in the machine in & plot out the settings as I recall. Not done it for a fair few years mind you. What software are you using? in Signlab you can adjust the output size. I expect you can do that in other programs as well by adjusting the plotter driver settings.

  I received a response from Mutoh, its on page 47 of the SC users guide manual.

  Hi Luke,

  I am being really cheeky!

  But I have a Mutoh SC650 that I brought second hand (Good old Ebay) trouble is they did not have the user guide. The guide downloaded from Mutoh is very basic and does not go up to page 46. Is there any chance you could let me know what the proceedure is for altering the steps?
