Given the great resolution & clarity of the original photo…would just be 5 or 6 minutes to vectorise or even modify some text and draw an arc.

    Go on…have a go!

David, I have been trying for a while, but my vectorising skills means the end result is that of a 5 year olds handwriting..

What application would you recommend for doing such a thing?

Rob – thanks! that’s really saved my bacon!

    Hi Chris

I use Signlab to do both my ‘manual’ & automatic vectorising.
And sometimes have to resort to manually tracing – then scanning – and PC rebuilding for very poor images…there is a way round everything!

If you can start with the fairly geometric logos (can be build from circles, squares, modified letters etc.) and work your way up your confidence & abilities will grow…don’t write off you skills just yet.

    Dave
