• dibond panels

Hi all, does anyone know what is the biggest size of dibond/ alucolour, in my docs it appears to be approx 1500 x 3000.

the reason i ask is that i have a sign board to make that measures 1700 x 1800mm and it is at a low level height and a joint will spoil the look, unless of course anyone can suggest a method of disguise the joint so that it becomes invisible??

    any help appreciated

    cheers

you can get a 4000mm x 1500mm sheet but nothing wider than 1500 or 1550 to be precise. your only option for a sheet size to suit your job is a perspex sheet they come 3000 x 2000, use a planatrim frame to mount and you should be ok

does it have to be dibond?(read sign composite)

there are many types of panel available that would do the same job, and made to larger sizes. for example :-

Maybe a bit thicker, but with a bit of ingenuity a nice frame can be added,
    and voila! a seamless sign.

    Amari have 4000 x 2000 and 3000 x 2000mm sheets on their price list.

It’s a good idea to check availability though, as the larger sheet sizes are less commonly held in stock.

Andy, you were right, Amari do do boards at 4m x 2m but only in white and we typically need it to be black, then we can’t get black vinyl in 2m width, so a slight change of plan

Although, they did quote slightly cheaper than our usual supplier, so we still benefitted..
