    Hi All

I have read many topics on the boards regarding Acrylic adhesives and it seems 50/50 on whether to use Tensol 70 or fusion.

I have two pieces of rare acrylic (pearl) and have to bond acrylic letters to it and don’t want to mess it up. The fusion seems to bond instantly without time to ensure it is 100% correct and also comes in 3l bottles which is about 2.99l more than I need 😕

Should I go for Tensol 70 instead?

    Opinions welcome

    cheers

    Warren

I would tend to go with fusion for this application Warren

Either way you run the risk of messing it up to a certain extent….too much tensol & it squeezes out of the sides & it dosn’t clear up easily if you get marks on the face of the pearl…you also run the risk of knocking letters while your working on others

I would go for the fusion with a syringe & a needle & just carefully capillery the fusion underneath each letter by following around the letters edge with the needle….you still have 10 – 20 seconds to get the letter off if you do make a mistake
