    Am I right in saying that to get the best results for a shaded image; ‘Say a 50mm flame blending from red to orange to yellow’ it would have to be done on a ink jet printer rather than a thermal printer.

    Also can any of the ink jet printers print Gold of silver?

    Looking to invest, so just getting some feed back.

    Any feed back will be useful.

    Well firstly depends on the quality of the inkjet printer which would give a better result for a flame both inkjet and thermal can both do the job…inkjet will give a tonal simulation of gold and silver but not true gold and silver which can be printed on a thermal gerber edge
