    Hi

Can anybody help me source a stainless steel projection pole to hang a piece of acrylic from. (I would say it needs to be a bit like a banner hanging pole)

    Thanks

i am not 100% what your after, but what i make on what you are after. i don’t know of a stock supplier. i have a stainless fabricator next door to me… in the past i have just had him fabricate for me. hes not cheap or fast, but then again, they do a good job.

    Hi Phil

It doesn’t have to be acrylic but the difficult part is trying to find a stainless steel pole as it will be outside she does not want chrome as it will tarnish.\

I think I might need to find a 80mm diameter stainless steel banner pole and modify it shorter, don’t know really 😕

    Thanks for the reply

The easiest way to describe it is a flag pole but only about 2 foot long and attached horizontally to the wall, weld 2 rings on the bottom and hang a sign from it……………… this is what the customer wants 😕

Do Ashby’s do stainless and make bespoke?

    cheers

Should i recommend other manufacturer? I had just thought, i am manufacturer regarding subject and how can i help if i am not allowed to offer myself.

Sorry for my complaint but i am a new member. Maybe you can orient me for this aspect.

    Thank you

    Warren,

Can’t think of an ‘off the shelf’ solution to your problem, and would
think you may need to have this custom fabricated.

We have quite a bit of stainless steel work fabricated for us and we
tend to use different companies depending on the type of steel section
they are likely to stock or production method that they specialise in.

i.e. we have a company that make great sign boxes for us, as they specialize in folding work for work tops and benches for the catering trade.

perhaps a company specialising in boat fixtures and fittings may be your best bet. 🙂

    Hi Lorraine

I have seen these and sent pics to the customer as an alternative to stainless steel, she liked them but still wants to try get stainless steel and said she has someone who can do it or she will use one of these.

thanks for all the help everyone.

    cheers
