Colorrip 2.2 question
I have ‘issues’ doing a print & cut to items over 2400mm in length.
Basically, when I auto align the dots, it stops looking after 2400mm and gives me a crop error. I have to do it manually.
Is there anywhere in the software that lets me tell it to look, say, 3000mm?
I can’t find anything, but I’m just going round in circles. Perhaps I’m overlooking the obvious.
Any help appreciated.

dont think i have done that long, 2 mt regularly.
the auto find has nothing to do with the rip though ?, cant find anything in the manual yet.you must have done smaller stuff hundreds of times so you should know if its not straight

Yeah thanks chris.
Its seems to be straight, it just doesn’t go the distance. It does not run out of tape either, so Its not as though the rear sensor sees the end of the sheet.
Its a regular contract for me, and it happens every time on the two lengths that are over 2400 long. Ones 2800mm and the other is 3100mm
The registration is never 100% when doing it manually though, so I’d like it to be automatic if I can 😕

on our SC-540 when the machine stops looking for the crop mark and shows error you press the "PAUSE" key and it continues to search.
I have registered prints over 3500mm long before you just set the auto align going it finds the first two then rolls out the 2400mm length stops and says ‘can’t find crop mark’ then you push pause and it carries on looking.
hope this helps, don’t know what machine you have.

I got pretty frustrated at work, so I left the last 2 long ones to do on Monday. I’ll give this a go first thing monday morning.
