You cannot cut a rastor file. (picture) you need to convert it to a vector(line drawing) This can be in a number of fornats AI, EOS CDR etc
This can be done in several ways depending on the software you are using. Try brands of the world for a vector file of the logo.

i have no idea, and none of the local colleges around here hold training on the programe

sorry again to be so dumb

and how do i add a valid floating point that it says is missing

If you have a full corel package you normally get a book containing tons of clip-art. I’m sure you will get clip-art in there…

a raster/picture image is made up of millions of dots, your cutter blade cannot follow dots…
you need a vector file which is made up of lines. these lines create a path in which your blade on your cutter can follow.

if you are looking for clipart to download online you must look for "vector clipart" if it has to be cut from vinyl.

You could convert a bitmap into a vector with CorelTrace. Scan image in a high resolution, covert to black and white, and trace. the image will still needs some work, so finding a vector file is probably quicker.
    But it does work.
