  • can vinyl be applyed over large rivets?

    Hi all,
    Could do with some advice as to how to deal with LARGE rivets.
    These are much bigger than the normal pop rivets ..about 12mm dia.
    Im applying an avery removable digi print tomorrow
    Any tips or advice appreciated..

    i would just apply right over them like regular rivettes, giving a good heat once covered.

    Same as Robert, just apply straight over the top then heat in, a good rivet brush is useful if you have one.

    cheers chaps,
    I should of mentioned these stand proud of the body approx 5mm.
    I was concerned about getting creases in the vinyl.

    Shouldn’t make that much difference, apply as Robert said to the flat areas first. If you don’t use to much pressure on the squeegee then you won’t get any creases.

    yep i agree, also not forgetting…..a good vinyl also helps 😀
