Drill the rivets out. Either rivet the new one back in or screw it in!

Jon if you drill the rivets out carefully then you can use the old sign as a template for the new one and then rivet the new sign in place without having to make any more holes.

depending on the job and size / type of existing sign. . . leave it were it is and UHB tape the new sign over the top !

    thanks for your replies..
sounds like drilling out rivets is the ideal way..
i was thinking of self tapping screws as well.
the sign is too warped to vhb.needs new fascia.

    cheers
