Cracked type font help
I’ve got a few cracked fonts but nothing like this.
Anyone know the name, or have the font?
I need ‘AVAILABLE AT SURF SHOP’ if anyone has it. eps or ai will be appreciated (All uppercase)

looks like the font used for the "Psycho" movie poster.

Looks like Compacta. Also, if you squash Impact it looks very similar.
Adding the cracks yourself should be easy enough. There was a demo here on doing this a while back, although I’m sure a top bloke like you Shaney knows how to do that.
Depends how close a match you need, really.

Thanks Andy. I was going to dodgy something up, but I know the original graphics company that did this, and they would have purchased a font, they aren’t that clever to have made their own… I’d ring them but they have made it clear many times that I’m not their friend, so I don’t want to get an earful if I can avoid it… They have suggested on more than one occassion that my heritage is dubious too..
The theme park wants it as close as possible, so I was hoping someone would log on and say ‘ shane you idiot everyone knows that font is …..’ 😳 😕

How do you work nights then front up to your ‘other’ job during the day. You sound like a ‘hero’ to me 🙂 I’d be at home checking out the back of my eyelids….

No Hero me Shane, I would normally be asleep after a shift, but as I am away from tomorrow evening (YAY!) I have a mountain of work to sort out.
I’m more interested in why on Earth YOU are back on line less than 5 hours after your last post, presumably which was before you went to bed…… (?)

Shane is there nothing on fonts500.com or dafont.com, you might of already looked but i did see something similar a while back.

dafont.com was offline all day yesterday (your nighttime) for ‘maintenance’ so it was the only font site that I couldn’t check 😕
