  agfa 43 (time warp!!)

  Hi. right then lets head back in time!!!!! i have acquired a agfa 43 (free) for my poster printing superb nik,seems to works fine although when printing pictures it prints everything with like a dark shaddow over all image, so i suppose No it doesnt work fine!!!! any ideas anyone, talked to someone in uk and they said check dither settings, im running it with dye inks and flexi pro 7.6v2, it prints standard flat colour work fine.

  any helpers??

  Aloha Rich,

  I’m new to this BB and joined to find information about the Sherpa 43. I work at Hawaii Pacific University. We have been offered the printer as a donation but it does not come with any software (rip, driver,etc.) because it was used strictly as proofing device at a large commercial printer. We would like to use it as a standalone poster printer but are having a hard time determining what the minimum software requirements are. Would you be able to provide any insight?

  hi, rich it seems you realy need onyx rip for best results! ive tried flexi sign ppro rip and the results are poor!
