here’s a quick job i did this morning,

all oracle 651, customer chose colour scheme and layout,

over-all i like it, but realise now that i put the number too low down, it was all part of one large sheet, must’ve been sent the wrong measurements for the door as it works out fine where i scaled the photo up to the measurement.

    customer’s well happy though,

hugh….i’ll be honest, you have done better ( i know you think the company logo looks fab)….the side doors of the truck show the telephone number bigger than the company name and they shouldnt be….and the bullet points are too far apart…thats my const. crits. sorry if i seem ott…but i only say what i see 😉

Hugh, sorry I have to agree with Nicola, I have seen much better work from you as well. I know you don’t always have a lot of say when it comes to what goes on a vehicle but all I can really see is two big phone numbers, I have already mentioned the justification on the magnetics post but it applies to this as well.

you’re both right ! i’m just about to email the customer and change the phone number for a smaller one, if they’ll let me, they wanted it as you see it, that must’ve been the 10th ‘little adjustment’ !!! though i think they’ll agree if i suggest it,

i’m gonna draw a line under last week i think, write it all off !

seeing as its a four door cab it’s a shame that the brief didn’t let you put the numbers on the rear doors.

i wondered that while fitting it, i’ve just checked, and it seems one of my very first layouts included the rear door, but they wanted it similar to how it is, it’s never been brought up, it’s been a year since this job was first quoted, many changes in that time !

yeah would have been better on both doors..
for better spacing and visual looks..
on a positive note the colours look nice..
guess its one of those jobs which just snowballs, we all get them mate.
sometimes the customer thinks they know best regarding layout or design!
we just gotta keep them happy at the end of the day.

    cheers
