paul i have 6 swinger signs in stock, (no funny replies now :lol1:)
i really think they are a good buy for the money. however, i think the panels are a tad thin, but still do a good job… why not lay the old panel on top of a sheet of dibond or leboard/alucolour, rynabond and mark round it with a pen and cut one yourself? if its a cheap one, use foamex of some sort.

or just call them direct using Lorraine’s info posted :lol1:

Thanks for the info, I had thought about manufacturing the panel myself, but wasn’t too sure i’d get a good finish on the radiused corners.
I will check out the cost of a replacement and if it leaves me no margin on the job will cut one out of some spare alupanel.
    Cheers

If you have a problem cutting radius corners with a jig saw the best thing to do is get a plate or something similar that has the right sized curve and clamp it to the board and use it as a guide for the saw.

    Thanks for the info

That makes ours in Australia sound cheap in comparison to Aussie Dollar to Pound, someone is making a killing, the eighty five Australian Dollars include GST(10%). How much is your VAT?
Our swinger is the same without the wheels, I think they are great value and a good product but it is a shame that most councils here do not like them. ( they do not like anything that does not make them money).

Graham, our VAT on most business type items is 17.5% , as for councils not liking them we have the same problem over here. Like you say anything that doesn’t earn them money they don’t want to know about or don’t approve of.
