    Hi

I have been having banding issues when trying to print on this material. It basically looks like the cyan ink stops printing every 150mm or so, and then starts again.

Roland tell me that this is a profile issue (which I find hard to believe!). I am using the profile supplied by DJET and have tried others such a generic vinyl II, although trying other profiles hasn’t resolved the problem, it does seem to affect the frequency of the banding lines. I seem to be going round in circles with this issue.

Could anyone tell me if they have had similar problems or how it could be fixed?

    Thanks
    Mike

post a pic if you can, but it sounds more like the damper needs changing on the cyan head. Print a solid block of 100% cyan & see what happens, how old is the machine

    Hi Kev

100% cyan print fine. Machine is 1 year old, but I had a similar problem when I bought the machine when trying to print on banner material.

It’s hard to get a good photo of the banding, so I’ve increased the contrast in photoshop just to give you an idea of the frequency.

Thanks for your help, much appreciated.
