    rob,

i know www. links arent normally allowed, I stumbled across this on ebay earlier, looks rather like the same image you use on the site? I reckon someone might be up to no good. Pretty low to copy the training files.

    might be worth checking out.

    cheers

Yes – there’s plenty of jokers like this going about. I reckon it’s about time ebay were held accountable for allowing opportunists to sell this sort of thing. Once ebay start getting sued then maybe they would vet some of their sellers a bit better. It’s a bit like BT selling freephone and premium rate numbers. If they were held accountable for the miss selling done by their customers – then maybe, just maybe, this sort of thing could be stamped out 🙄

the same seller also had impacts outline discs up for sale but that got withdrawn,
The dvd must have originated from a board member though, as the demos are only viewable by silver membership and above.

Any one care to own up ?

Shouldn’t be too hard for Rob to trace, like you say Peter, Silver membership and above and coming from "Gwynedd".

If I was Rob, I’d buy a copy to see how much content has been "stolen", then sue the @rse off the person!

I can’t believe what I am seeing 😮 The audacity for a member to actually do that is beyond comprehension.

Rob, I hope you find out who it is, publish his address and we will all sort him out for you 👿

    Warren

    Just an after thought

I would start with anybody who has registered but does not contribute, most of the people who contribute use this site for good, not bad. 😕

    I agree.

Can’t be too hard to trace could it? A solicitors letter to ebay would not be a bad idea though.

As this can be proven to be belong to Rob and the site, simply informing eBay should be enough to have it taken down. As with impact stuff – it is against eBay rules and that is why burned cd’s and dvd’s (even if they are sold) are not advertised. So if you buy a dvd and it’s a copy you have comeback.

oooh what have I started, Im probably messing with the welsh mafia 😎

Can I sleep at night? …you bet I can!!!! Pretty low to and stupid to try a trick like that. Im not sure if they have just used the image or if it is all the tutorials etc? Rob you should just buy a copy to find and leave the worst kind of feedback you can, nothing pi55es off an ebay seller more than leaving them bad feedback.

    cheers

i was thinking the same as Peter as soon as i realised what was on sale, that it has to be a member selling or supplying them, bang out of order,

thanks for the heads up on this folks…
The images on the eBay listing are obviously of me, but i managed to purchase the DVDs about a week and a half ago when they first came online.
The DVD content is actually a poorly copied "Video Cassette to DVD conversion" from an old American vinyl application video.
i know this because i bought the actual video cassette about 4 or 5 years ago direct from the states/originator.
nothing on the dvd’s have been taken from UKSB other than the images which i have already contacted the the ebay seller asking for them to be removed. I am in the process of making my compliant to ebay but from what i have read i must do via fax so ill do that on monday.
the guy is selling software that doesnt belong to him, from what i can see it belongs to Brian Hays at Impact, The tutorials do not belong to him they are the property (i think) of Beacon Graphics in the states, The images used are property of UKSB and are of me. He also sells tutorials on locks and lock picking, which again are NOT his.
i know his name, location, email etc which i will post here once i have heard back from ebay.

    Regarding videos on UKSB.
Due to the above, we stopped loading video tutorials on UKSB but will resume loading them again once this has been cleared up. I recon Wednesday should see the next video followed by another Friday or Sunday…
